Aubrie's BIRTHday Party

Andrea and Mark had a great idea. When Andrea began to go in labor, they baked a birthday cake and iced it. They put a "0" candle on it. Several hours after her birth, we all had Aubrie's "zero" birthday party complete with hats, matching plates and napkins. They choose not to light the candle for fear of alarms going off or an oxygen tank explosion. But the party was so sweet. We all sang "Happy Birthday" to Aubrie. The Rucker family is famous, or infamous, regarding singing the Happy Birthday song. At birthday parties, we sing it so hideously that it actually hurts our ears. The worst off key and the most shrilling, the better. It scares little children as well as adults. We, thankfully, spared Aubrie from such torture. However, when she is old enough, she will be blessed with the Rucker song and she will learn that her daddy is the loudest and the worst of us all.
