More accurately, TGI June 12, 2009! Are you as tired of this analog to digital switch as I am? Haven't we the public been hammered with this for over a year now? First, it was the dreaded date of Feb. 17, 2009. If people didn't have enough time in a year to get their converter box, then they deserve to see static of waves on their TVs.




But noooooooo. Two weeks before the 2/17/09 deadline, the government gives a four-month reprieve. I didn't understand that delay at all. Great. Now we have to endure another four months of analog/digital switch ads. June 12 loomed in the future for all the procrastinators with old TVs.

Thankfully, June 12th here and we don't have to hear about this any more. If there are people who missed the June 12 deadline, they must be living under a rock. Today they will be very unhappy. There may be increased traffic at local city dumps over the weekend.
