Wow, what a crazy few days with Abby's pregnancy! This afternoon the o.b. doctor called Ab and said her amniotic fluid is low. Tomorrow at 8:15 she will have a test to check the fluid level. If too low, she will be admitted for inducement. If not, she'll have the same test on Monday morning and if low, she will be induced. At the very latest, she will be induced on Wed. So, I could have a new granddaughter on Friday, Monday, or Wednesday. HA HA Crazy, huh? Abby is fine. It's actually kinda humorous and she's taking it great. She's very thankful the doctor is so on top of this and taking care of her. She has a very good friend who works in the office of high risk pregnancies (where her amniocentesis was) and she has a very good friend who works in labor and delivery at the hospital. The o.b. doctor became aware of this and calls Abby the V.I.P. patient. It sure helps to have some nurse-friend connections. Please pray for Abby and Matt over the next few days of uncertainty.
This afternoon Andrea, Brie and I went to Abby's to hang out for a while. Here are some pictures of today.
